DS had a doctor's appt. this morning, so we ran out of the house early and forgot (oops) to feed the girls. When we got home at lunchtime, I ran out back with their feed, and didn't see either girl in the run. They are ALWAYS in their run, and I'd seen them both there early this morning waiting for me to bring them their breakfast (guilt). So, I went up to the coop, calling for them, and took a look inside. I only saw Fluffy. Then I realized that the "nest box" (AKA Tidy Cat box I pulled out of recycling) was upside down. Sure enough, there was Ivy, stuck inside the box, with Fluffy sitting obediently next to her jailed friend. Fluffy gets very upset whenever she can't see Ivy, so I think they were both a bit traumatized and happy to see each other , as well as their breakfast/lunch .
