Now thats just weird!!!

I went out this morning to collect our daily egg from our 1 laying hen. Well to my surprise no egg, but the weird part, one of the two gold ball "fake" eggs I had in the nest is gone. I looked all through the cedar shavings and all in the nest. Walked around the run looking for it and nothing.. I am stumped on were it went.. WEIRD

Sounds like you have an egg thief. Can snakes, jays, or squirrels get into the coop?

Well in the 7 years here I have never seen a snake around, though I admit thats one thing I hunted the yard for awhile ago.. Didn't think if a critter got in they would take a fake golf ball..lol No signs of an intruder, really don't see how one could get in...hmmmm

LOL, that is too funny, You would think critteres could smell that it is fake.
