Yes niacin has been being given B Complex. Ok looks like a friend is in her future!!! Yes I have had her swimming in the sink once a day since yesterday, she loves it (well of course she is a duck lol). You need to be giving her some form of niacin. Did you get the liquid B complex if not get Nutritional yeast and sprinkle it over her feed. Didn’t you get the liquid? Are you putting it in her water? Heavier breeds need the niacin so much more than lighter breeds but even lighter breeds need it. A friend will probably motivate her to get moving are you letting her have swim time? Nice warm water it’s the best for strengthening leg muscles.
You really haven't told me or showed me your babies! You are not asking too many questions love talking about our ducks and helping if I can.
Oh my gosh how adorable!!!! I'm thinking Moons leg issues is in her hips. They stick out pretty far, not completely sure it's normal but looks very odd. How many do you have all together? I'm assuming the yellowish ones are pekins like mine?View attachment 1882637 View attachment 1882638 View attachment 1882640 Oh I have many more too lol You can go on my profile page and see all my birds.
Awww sounds like a wonderful mix. Well I currently have 9 big girls (chickens) all under 6 months. 6 silkies under 2 months. My beautiful blind baby, and now I added to the chaos we just brought home a 2 ish week Kaki Campbell friend!!!! I am currently holding both now, uggh it wont stop crying and panicking. So back to questions, can I let the new baby duckling drink the B Complex all the time too?No Pekins , Fawn and white Runners and black Runners a blue and silver Runner. And Muscovy and Buffs. 18 waterfowl including 2 geese and 22 chickens of various breeds. How about you chickens I am thinking? It could very well be her hips. But the liquid b can help even if this is genetic which it maybe. May never cure but the liquid b is like gold for our waterfowl.
Drove over half hour to TSC she/he was the last one in a stock tank full of 3X it's size pekins. I just noticed this on one of it's foot is this normal?Of course the new baby needs it too. Where did you get the new duckling?
