I have a very small flock that I want to get NPIP certified next year. I know you can only buy new stock from other NPIP breeders once certified, so your birds will not contract any outside diseases. Now the question is: will free ranging my birds void the NPIP certification due to coming in contact with wild birds? My guys love to walk around and forage all day, I think that is one of the reasons why they are so healthy and strong, wide variety of natural foods and lots of exercise.
