NPIP and the NAIS?

i know ya'll will most likely think "uh oh.that old hippie is really paranoid........she must have been skipping her meds!"

that being said, i really really want to have my flock NPIP certified but the worry that it will get me on some kind of NAIS list is holding me back.

our ag agent is less than useless and says he's never even heard of the NAIS, so i thought i'd bring my question here.

any thoughts?

i'm in florida, if that makes a difference

It's the reason I've been putting it off. I haven't read anything definitive about a connection, but once the government has your info, they hold on to it.
