HOw much is the kit??????? How often would you have to test or how long the bottle last? Does the state pays for it or the tester pays for it?

pine grove, your lucky, WI will not sell antigen, we have to buy it ourselves, with bands we can use anything including zip strips, as long as you can identify each bird individually.

A table I dont have but plenty of TV wood tray tables LOL! We do have a bigger table that we used for displays that we can set it up.

Even the test is free but the testers can charge?????????? Is there something I don't know???

you can make your box if you want, the bottle is good for around a year. I charge a $1 a bird with a $20 min for everyone but 4-h or FFA kids

Well thats not too bad!

The set up can be done and everyone be caught and put inside the coop and cages. I know I have one hatchery bird and the rest of the were private breeders.

How woudl I make a box?

antigan on ice
paper towel
needles
these platice loops
a bucket for water
a small cup for more water
a brush for scrubbing
a clean small towel

when I test for someone,the birds must be caged or in a confined space, I need a water source, an outlit to plug in the light box and help holding the birds, most birds are calmer if the owner holdes them down, if I need to bring help with me, it costs extra

the different in WI all we need is the antigan, box, loop, needles, I can require the owner to have ID bands, the rest is up to you, the testing is on site you do not need to send to a lab, unless you do turkeys, the results are right away
