Hi all! I'm proud to have joined the National Poultry Improvement Plan, and now that I am looking for some additional stock, I'm not having the easiest time tracking down breeders who I CAN get stock from! After extensive (3 days worth) searching here on BYC I can find very little on who has done this and what they have! The NPIP Search facility is seriously clunky and isn't very good at providing what it should either.

If we could all perhaps check in to maybe this one thread, and if the BYC Mods & Nifty think it's a good idea, maybe we could even get this to be a 'Sticky'. We can edit these posts to keep our lists up to date on our own.

I'd be happy to create a BYC page as well to go along with this if everyone would like that.

Thanks Jean, I'll give that a try.
I won't get my hopes up though, last time I got a list of breeders from a breed club and the albc they were innaccurate to say the least.

I was hoping there were more of us, but I'm beginning to think very few folks participate in this NPIP program.

We are NPIP certified.
Tennessee-37354
TN NPIP #63-309
Southeast TN between Chattanooga, and Knoxville. We are located just of Hwy 411.
Blue Laced Red Wyandottes - Old English Game Bantams (several colors) - Buff Orpingtons - Silver Spangled Hamburg Bantams - Quail (several colors and breeds) - Pheasants (several colors and breeds) - Peafowl - Guineas

I think thats all.

Your actual number is longer than that. Each State has their own identifying number, which is a prefix to your number because someone in another state could be 301 also.

My number is 91-99. Your number should be 63-301.

I have wondered about that, but information around here is pretty slim. That is why I have been specifying Tennessee Participant along with my number. My card has only the #301 on it, and they didn't really send any other information along. How would I find out for sure that I am 63?

Might I thread hijack my own thread? Do you know how to get "paperwork" to send along with chicks and eggs? I got some chicks from a breeder that appeared to be an NPIP form. Also... is there some magical way to get the logo to display on my own website?

In the breeders directory each state has their own number. I will list them for you, since you didn't get a directory.

Also you should ask your Dept of Ag to send you some VS 9-3 forms. This is the form you fill out and send to the purchaser of your eggs, chicks or birds. I will find the web page with the NPIP logo on it and add it in a minute or two. I have it on my web page.

I also recommend reading this post I made yesterday: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=185857
