Nubian w/DIARRHEA!! She got into the ALFALFA

My nubian has really bad diarrhea She got into the alfalfa hay last night---What can I do for her??? Or should I let her system work it out??? She is behaving fine other than the diarrhea. Her tail is covered in the poo.

I would get her some ProBios for now and watch for bloat and laminitis. I wouldn't plug her up with an anti-scour medication at this point.

I agree with Kate and let it run itself out ...nope you dont want to stop her up...give the Probios and maybe some baking soda if yu dont have the Probios. It should clear up soon.

Can I get the Probosis at TSC?? I have baking soda here---how much and do I dilute it with water?

Yeah, I was aware, or I would not have joked and laughed otherwise, knowing that the goat would have being presently suffering from the unfortunate infliction. I have been doing some back reading on BYC for my own interest on various subjects, and in the process I found a number of misplaced threads which our marvellous moderators have deftly moved to correct sections. My apologies for creating the misunderstanding.
