Folks we have a new member with some questions. Maybe we can help?

I can't figure out what's wrong with her and am looking for any advice. We also have 2 Barred Rock hens who are doing fine but they both have small bald spits on their backs near the tail. Any thoughts?

Do you have a rooster? Have you checked them for mites? Look down near their vent, on the skin and feather shafts and see if you can see anything white or black there. Tiny. How about their feed? Is it possible this girl is being pushed away from the feeder? Have you ever wormed them?

I know...a lot of questions but you have to be the 'eyes' here. Are you able to post pictures?

My thought on the one Rhode Island Red with the white feathers? It sounds as if she isn't really a Rhode Island Red. Yes, photos would really really help in diagnosis.
Are these the birds? From the description it could be a cross, I have a GC who is smaller than her sisters and isn't as brightly colored as they are.

I can try to post better pictures tomorrow bit here's what I snapped today. Ill get one with my other red who is dark and full and healthy looking.
I looked but didn't find any bugs on her but she was squirmy and I couldn't get a good look.
She's a year old and was much darker in color a few months ago

That is a Golden Comet or as Fred's Hens called them, a Production Red. She is perfectly normal!
