Nuerological or something else?

This has been a fascinating journey, @Shadrach, thank you for taking the time to share it. Please do keep us posted! Here's hoping all the best for Bracket. Do we have a pic of her?
I do actually, lots.:D
What I haven't been able to get yet is a fair picture of her in the coop pile.

This is what she was like if she sat down. It didn't matter where she was if she sat she did this.

Here she is doing her bit with the chicks.

And here she is sat down! She doesn't even have any chicks under her. They're with the other two.

Whoa. That is weird. Is there a vet/avian specialist you can ask?
She's been to the vet. There is nothing apparently physically wrong with her.
One would need a very specialised vet for something like this.
As you can see, apart form her normal slightly erratic but endearing behaviour which she has always had, she's a perfectly capable hen. She's the top hen in her tribe. She's just weird but in a very nice way. She's very brave, fit and looks the healthiest of them all.

Yeah... I was thinking a ornithologist or an avian specialist. It is rather endearing...
