number of average eggs?

I have 2 laying hens at the moment. Both less than 1 year old. Buff orpington and easter egger. Suffering the worst south central nc winter in years. They're both laying 2+ eggs a day. Is this normal?

It's normal if someone is sneaking eggs into your laying boxes.

The best I've been able to get from any hen has been 1 egg per day.

That's what I thought. Lost part of flock to predators but all of the flock seem to be overachievers. Down to 2 buffs, 1 easter egger, and 6 young barred rocks. Could 8 guinea's have anything to do with it?

Could one of the barred's be a super chicken and start laying at about 17-18 weeks?
