Number of Drakes

I'm fixing to seperate the extra drakes from my flock of Welsh Harlequins. Right now I have 5 drakes and 5 hens. Would 1 drake be enough with 5 hens or do I need to keep 2. The extras with go in a pen to be sold.

I would say 1 is better...the ratio is supposed to be 1 drake to 3-9 ducks

One drake would be enough...But what if something happens to him. Its always good to have a spare if you have the room. Not that anyone plans for a drake to get sick or be taken by a predator- but it is something worth considering.
