Hi. Building a new coop inside a 10x15ft run we're in Florida so we're going to keep it fairly open just protection from elements ,if we get a bad storm they can be put in the shed. I'm wondering how many would be comfortable in that kind of space? Though I can't see dh letting me keep too many anyway. I have a bo and 3 bantam now, getting eggs to hatch. .bantam eggs are tiny. .want green eggs and ham.
Thanks for any input

In theory you need 4 sq feet per chicken inside the coop and 10 sq feet in the run. If your weather is great and your birds will rarely be in the coop you could probably get away with less than 4 sq feet. Make sure whatever coop you create is predator-proof, though...
