Nursery Pen

I have a bourbon red tom and hen who is 2 weeks into incubating 24 eggs. They free range all day and are penned up at night in a 5'x10' pen. I read on some other website that I should set up a nursery pen with covered sides so she can't see out to stop her from pacing and trampling the little ones but I haven't seen anything like that mentioned here on BYC. And by that I mean I search "Nursery Pen" and it didn't turn up anything. Do you use a nursery pen and if so can you describe your set up for me? How long do you keep her and the poults in there?
