FuzzyCritters
Crowing
The chicks in the middle will not have enough room to hatch. They need 2-3 inches of empty space in front of their air cell to be able to pop the top off. I've tried something like this before, and got a stuck chick struggling to get out because it didn't have enough room to pop it's air cell off and get out.
Since my divider failed, I now set up a box with a heat light over it for the hatched chicks. I take the chicks out as soon as they hatch and place them in the warm box. When they are fluffy they go to brooder.
