I have the NR360 and have hatched with it before however this hatch I have a problem with a couple detached air cells and I want to try and see if I can help/fix them. My problem is the eggs lay and turn on their sides but I’m trying to figure a way to make the few detached ones point down whilst still able to turn. Any ideas?
Many thanks

Place the questionable eggs into a cut up egg carton. (individual holders) Then turn those by hand as often as you think they need to be.
I know the turning would be limited,,, but would only be necessary in the beginning. I think when the chicks grow inside,, the eggs could be placed sideways, like the rest.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

I've had really good luck hatching eggs with saddled air cells horizontally. The only time I'm concerned about keeping them upright is when the air cell is completely detached.

I have a couple that are completely detatched and it’s those I’m trying to macgyver to have point down

Sometimes when the damage is bad enough it won't matter how much we baby them so don't get your heart set on those too much. It takes quite a lot of jostling to cause the membrane to fully detach from the shell.

Ya I’m pretty sure it won’t happen but figured I’d try just in case 🤞

I do the same! I figure if there is room in the incubator then there's no harm in trying! I have done entire experiments on hatching "undesirable" eggs. I just know it's easy to get attached when you start going out of your way to hatch the problem babies.
