Nutrena Feed???

I bought a bag of nutrena gamebird feed for my quail friday and wanted to know if any of you use this feed,and is it good?

i use nutrena layer pellets for a year i think it is 19 %

More important than the amount of protein is the first few Ingredients listed in the feed . We need to find what and which ingredients is most important to the birds we are feeding and look for that first .
If one can get quality ingredients usually the correct protein will be there .
Needed Fat is often over looked in feeds .

Yup! I use it for my quail.

Don't use Flock Raiser on the quail tho....some Feedstores tell ya to use it...trust me dont. Fine for chickens tho.

I now use a turkey starter, non-medicated that is 27%, my birds love it.

I think flock raiser is lower in protien...I have both gonna go check labels

I cut off wrong end of game bird starter...lol....but flock raiser says on website 20%

but why do they not say quail? Hmmmm
