Hey guys! So i currently have my flock on Nutrena Naturwise and I like the feed. It smells nice and my chickens seem happy and healthy. Egg shell quality is good.

I was recently in Big R (I normally shop at Tractor Supply) and noticed they have their own line of chicken feed.

I wasnt able to figure out who produces the Big R Feeds line and I havent heard anything about it.

I also saw Country Companion Layer feed as well.

So between Naturewise, Country Companion and Big R Feeds which do you like and why?

I use naturewise because my chickens prefer it and there poop isn't as stinky as with feeding with Purina all flock. This makes my morning poop chore easier to breathe in coop.

I've fed Country Companion since June 2022. My hens now stopped laying. Husband picked up a new brand today (I might guess it's AgLand from Colo). Fingers crossed even though it's not much daylight this time of year. I have 4 pullets that should be laying now or any day in addition to 2 year old hens.

My hens egg production was reduced by 80% on the country companion. When I went back to the chicken feed, I buy from the local growers here in Idaho. Their production picked back up.
