Hi, we just started feeding out flock Nutrina Nature Wise layer feed (is "as close as you can get" organic). Anyway I am wondering if anyone else feeds this to their flock?
I feed the crumbles and thought I might mix their old feed (local family owned feed store brand) with the Nutrina brand. This is a 50# bag that is almost $20 and they seem to be going through it quicker than the 25# bags of the feed store brand. Will it hurt to mix them???? Or should I just mix in cracked corn and bird seed ever so often?

We can't free range, but try to give them greens (grasses and veggies) and fruit as often as I can.

We have 15 chickens too and 8 ducks, the ducks are like shovels. They go through the majority of the feed. :/ I just wish our local mill would just tell me where they get their corn from, but I am sure it is full of GMO.
