I looked to see if I could find anything here or anywhere online about the nutritional difference between conventionally grown eggs (store-bought, washed out, yucky) and back yard eggs but I'm coming up empty handed. The problem is that I keep coming up with commercially grown "organic" eggs and commercially grown "free-range" eggs which we all know aren't really much better than the battery hen eggs at the supermarket. What I'd like to know is the nutritional difference between the icky-blah store-bought grossness and the yummy, rich, mouthwatering eggs we gather from our happy, healthy girls who get to eat bugs, run around to their hearts content, gorge themselves on kitchen scraps, etc. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

Katie

That's wonderful! Thank you so much! Is this info available online or in a book? I'd love to be able to reference it in the future and also to pass it along to my friends. :D

I got the info in a booklet published by an animal protection charity. I'll ask them where they got it from and PM you.
