Hello everyone
My question is at least how many times should i feed my chickens in a day that keeps the the birds healthy? Keeping in mind that I have small no. of bird including Ducks and Chickens.

I just keep a hanging feeder that I fill up every day. It hold 3 gallons of feed. They eat when they are hungry and leave it alone when they're not. That way I never have to worry about it. I also give them some treats every day.

Hi Rumi –
Sorry for the delayed response!
There really is no rule per se on how often you need to feed your birds, just as long as they always have feed available to them. It is also important that they be fed a complete and balanced diet to meet all of your birds’ nutritional requirements. Since you have a mixed flock, I would recommend feeding Flock Raiser, which should allow adequate protein levels for both your chickens and your ducks. If your hens are laying, I’d make sure to supplement the diet with oyster shell to support shell integrity. If the ducks are also laying, then Layena is a good choice for all.
