Don't touch it, Nick. Sometimes, it takes 24 hours for a chick to get to its feet. Leave it in there to dry off and gain strength. That egg looks normal to me.

Then just let the chick rest in the incubator. Doesn't matter if it drinks or eats yet....It is still absorbing the yolk for a while......

If it's just wet, which I think is the case, that's normal. The chick will sleep alot, rest, and fluff up after a while....Don't worry. I'll bet it's fine.
