Beautiful 1.5 year old paint silkie hen for sale. Has thrown me so many beautiful babies and many are being retained. She is a sweet girl and is not being sold because she is inferior or has faults. I always sell some of my breeders in the fall to help pay taxes and to make room for grow outs that are related. She is a mess right now so the second photo I have provided is the only clean pic I have but can provide current messy pics of her. First pic is of her as a 3 month old. She has a high cushion and beautiful full crest that hides her eyes. Third pic is of her daughter. She out produces herself. Asking $200. I am NPIP and can ship to almost anyplace in the US. Thanks

She is pretty (and looks good too) but your price seems excessive  for a bird that will be entering molt and isn't THAT hard to find.

How many times has she been broody in her past 18 months? Did she successfully sit and raise any clutches? Or how many times did she have to occupy the breaker?

Does that INCLUDE shipping? :pop

Maybe the market is better than I realize!

I haven’t had any problems selling my birds for the price I ask but I only keep 20 birds or less and it takes a long time to raise and I only keep my best offspring so adult hens I don’t want to let go so easy. Out of hundereds of eggs, I only retain and grow out about 10. I have some of her daughters tho so am willing to sell her for the right price. She’s absolutely wonderful. I have not had this particular hen go broody yet which is nice. She consistently laid well all summer. Her price includes the cost of the box but not actual shipping.
