You guys have made such pretty eggs! Here are two of my entries:

a Polish hen, done with permanent marker . . .


. . . and a Phoenix rooster done with India Ink. The India Ink is bad for cameras with flash, but my favorite egg-drawing ink. See how shiny it is?

Okay, here's my third entry. The pictures didn't turn out very well, but you can see the light shining through the shell in the second pic. It looks better with a Christmas light in it, let me tell you.

I have heard a dremel is what most people use?

Thanks. I used a dremel and several types of tip. The butterflies are decently far apart, so it's pretty structurally stable. But yeah, I'm really glad I didn't drop it.
