I go threw 650 lbs of feed a month.I have 18 LF chickens 9 bantams 12 chicks. 10 large ducks and 9 mallards. Does this seem right or too much?

That's an insane amount of feed. I have 10 chickens and 50 pounds lasts me at leas a month or more.

I have never had alot of animals so I woudnt know for sure but sounds like alot to my novice self

Do they free range at all? Even so, that is a tonnnnnn of food!

I have had 20 LF three turkeys 30 quail and three ducks plus a brooder full of chicks and I used MAYBE 200 lbs a month. I have cut back incredibly- no turkeys or ducks, 16 chickens, 30 some quail and chicks and I use just about 125 lbs a month.
All the chickens free range though, the quail and chicks go through the most

Ducks do seem to eat a lot though... So I guess I would ask someone with ducks. I only had mine for a couple months before I decided they where not for me
