What are these? Brahma, but what color besides a form of blue??

They look like buff or red laced blue... Never seen brahma with any coloring like that

That is a coturnix -or pharaoh- quail. They are superb layers but aren't like chickens. They are NOT really sociable or friendly.

Oh my, might have to look into them. I like the one with the white on it best.

SORRY, I made a typo. These aren't sociable. Didn't want to turn you on to them if you thought they where going to be nice pets. Quail are much more wild then chickens. They are even kind of barbaric towards each other. I have had to seperate and deal with scalped birds many times.

Soo had a bad storm last night...sheets of plywood flew off my coop like they were paper! new coop too! more work to be done during my Christmas break...

It was bad here too , well wind still is & we get 60mph all the time so when I say it was bad I mean wow!

Sorry you had damage, hope it is an easy fix.
