Is it ALWAYS a bad thing to have "hatchery stock"? Are there hatcheries that anyone would recommend? I have people ask me but other than Mt. Healthy I do not know any....

NO its not bad , if you want meat or eggs or just to have chickens its not bad at all , if you want to sale pure hatching eggs or chicks or if youw ant to show then you need a better quailty usually from a privte breeder.
