DH likes purple too, although at first I was going to paint the trim white, and he was like "but that will make the purple, more purple!

) So I just made the darker color for the trim. He likes that better. LOL

I think my neighbors all think I am a little nuts, but I don't care, and they are probably right anyway.

Well the good / bad thing is nobody can see our coops from the road they are 800 ft UP the hill.
This I think is part of why DH has no issue using 3 diff. colors of roofing tin on one coop, when he COULD have stayed w/ one color and not made an eye sore.
<sigh>
I finally got my herb garden w/ raised beds and a recycled picket fence last summer, (only took 7 yrs) so I guess there is hope of cuteness in future coops
so that one day I will have all cute by which time the current junky looking ones will be old and removed.
Meanwhile, I email him all the simple yet cute ones I can find, trying to get him to see what other ppl have done (he is very compeditive so maybe that plus purple will work).
