We here in Kansas, are in a drought. For the most part our fall has been extremely mild, but today we are to get the freezing mix. It is so windy too. My birds are all hiding from it. Straw is to be delivered today.

We are having chili for supper!

Well, my rooster is on his way to his new home. Kind of sad. I'm sure his girls are going to miss him. No more fertilized eggs for me until one of my chicks grows up... Hopefully there is at least one nice roo in the bunch!!

TMN if you still have problems finding a good rooster please let me know. We always have a few spares we can box and send you. We dont breed or keep mean boys (they hit the freezer) but we do have a few very sweet boys we dont need or use.
