We do for the time being but it has flickered a time or to. I just checked the weather, rain should end sometime this am but the wind will be around 28 mph throughout the day, gusting up to 35 at times... Eck!

Winds here are 40 mph and temp at 56 expected to drop to 32 by 4:00. Worried about electricity going out here. Have chicks in lockdown, in incubators, in brooders and seramas under light in barn. Lights just flickered off as I was typing. Lord help - If the electric goes out I don't know what I will do.....

Soo had a bad storm last night...sheets of plywood flew off my coop like they were paper! new coop too! more work to be done during my Christmas break...

Time to run for the heavy duty repair material and the handy mans secret weapon... Duct Tape! Sorry about your coop tho, I feel your pain. I was afraid I would loose 2 of my baby's myself earlier. I am thinking of going and getting some old barn lumber to repair mine, it was also a plywood job and the wind decided it needed a new bigger door. Yarg.

Yikes! Im thinking maybe lots of blankets and "Hot Hands" for temporary heat if absolutely neccessary? Also, hot water filled soda bottles work wonders!

Isn't hatching stressful? That's why I didn't do the NYD hatch. I just hatched out Seramas 3 weeks ago, and I needed an in between break. But... I really am wanting Frizzles, so I'm sure it won't be long....
