I was out at 3 am last night checking on the birds. Brooder was taking in some rain (as the rain was coming sideways) but roof was on tight. This morning, got a new pen ready, fresh straw and brought a towel with me to move Momma and babies over. Momma (Popcorn, my all time FAVORITE chook) was soaked, run n straw soaked, babies..warm n dry. What a good Momma!
