Heavens no. They're scavengers pretty much. They enjoy butcher day very much around here (well, the ones that aren't getting butchered anyways). I feed the eggs back too. That's life, and it's a good source of protein for them. When I ran over my BBB turkey hen, I gutted her out and then couldn't do anything else, because I was sick to death of running over my baby. It was cold out and her body froze, they at it like a turkey pop. They laid a good amount of eggs for a few days after that.
