Thanks so much for posting a copy of the label. After many calculations, I finally came to the conclusion that a dose of 682,500 Units every 8-12 hours would be the recommended dose per the label and she is getting 600,000 units every 12 hours. I was really surprised to see that the dose is so much smaller if being prophylactically for a chicken on antibiotics. When should I begin to see some improvement if in fact this medicine is helping? She has no appetite - even refused to eat meal worms - and she is weak. I really appreciate your advice!

When I had one with a yeast infection we had her on ketoconazole for two weeks and during that time she had to be tube fed. When I use Nystatin now it's usually with fluconazole. Are you up for tubing and subcutaneous fluids?

Kathy I would like to use fluconazole 200 mg tablets for sour crop. Can you give me the equation to figure out amounts. Also dosages per day and for how many days. Thank you.

I was recently on my Public Library about poultry diseases and it seems there are some new ways to look up information, such as "E" books.
My library connects me to and gives me books from surrounding libraries, so perhaps your library can connect you to receive these "E" books as well.

That would be great is they had something like Plumb's! Maybe you could see what veterinary books like Plumb's are available?

My vet didn't have any Nystatin but he called some into the pharmacy and I picked it up and started it last night. It is Nystatin suspension 100,000 units per ml and he has me giving her 6cc's twice a day. I approx. her weight at about 6 lbs. Does this sound right?
How many days do you give that to her at twice a day? Trying to figure it out for my girl. Tried everything else and now she is starting to not eat well and had a soft empty shell hanging half way out of her vent. I just want her feeling better! 😩
