Obese Quail, HELP!

I have one quail who is too fat to support her self she has a limp, this is my thought of it.

I checked her legs for bruises, cuts, etc. All the way back to the joint.

If you need a picture (for any reason) i will post.

how old is this quail and did you check feet for problems?
Is this a laying adult?
Male or Female?
