Oh, that was Miss Floppy - she was a great hen. The greatest! So friendly. Came back from a weekend away and she was just gone. RIP. No evidence of her demise. We miss her. Great layer and surviver! She survived multiple dog attacks from an extremely inconsiderate lady who drives out here just to walk her dogs and kept doing so off leash even though it was evident they were not under voice control. Took a few losses before she stopped and finally now leashes them. (I wish she would just stop driving out here, but that’s life.) I think Miss Floppy may have been taken by coyotes as our dog, who normally drives them off, was at the neighbors while we were gone.

Miss Floppy was adorable! It's so hard to lose a favorite. It's nice to have you here at BackYard Chickens!
