ok I am giving up on the last 2 guinea eggs ( day 29 and the other keets hatched 4 days ago) and one of 4 chicks has now hatched. I have another that has pipped but not unzipped after 15 hrs. the guineas seem to have pipped and unzipped very fast. Once out of the shell they are active and all over the incubator. the chickens on the other hand, are much longer between pip and hatch. Also ( now I only have one so far) it seems to sleep ALOT and is no where near as noisy with continuous chirping like the guineas. Has anyone else noticed differences in species hatching?
