OCD??

Anyone else concerned about their chickens when you aren't around? As a first time chick owner I decided to take extra measures to watch them when I'm not "watching them." They don't like it when I walk in their room every 5 minutes.

We rigged up a webcam using an old phone to broadcast video within our wifi. So far it has helped me stay a little more calm when I hear little noises because I know I can just turn on the video and count their little heads.

I'm such a sucker.

Yes, I always worry that something terrible has happened. Wish I was that tech savy. Way cool.

@Puddin Fluff this all happened after I heard a thud and when I went to their room their gallon of water and heat lamp were laying in their bed. Luckily the other half knows how to work this techy stuff. Otherwise I'm pretty sure id be in the room with a pillow and blanket overnight.

You know, even after all these years and many hatches and broods, I am still a nervous mommy and get up at every sound in the night when brooding chicks. Midnight is a common hour for me to get up and check on everybody. LOL
