Hi Virgil, I've sent you a private message regarding the Ocellated turkey. I'm extremely interested in preserving and strengthening the beautiful Ocellated. Please advise as to where I might purchase a few. Thank you so much for any advice.

Hi, Ocellated Turkeys are wonderful birds, but very heart breaking at times, I did raise 4 last year, but then had a bacteria bloom around Thanks Giving and lost three adults, that seems to be the norm with these guys. Normally I can anticipate a bloom, but we had abnormally cold weather early this year and I wasn't prepared. I don't have any surplus this year, but Sid Drenth at texaspeafowl.com might have some he wants to sell, at least he keeps offering them to me------
