I wonder if theres a world record for how many babies a domestic mouse has had? Dang and I thought a rat having 21 rittens was a lot

The both rats & mice can have huge litters. I have 1 rat line, who does throw an average of 26 babies at once and a mouse line were 23 is common.
I had one rat doe give birth to 31 babies and a mouse doe have 30.

Any updates on this litter?

marebear07 yet again DANG. Ive kept rats forever and started breeding dumbos this years but Ive never heard of a doe having more than...22 I believe with 13 or so being the average. Actually a couple of hours ago one of my does had 15 rittens and shez almost 1

. They never cease to amaze me lol.
