Woohoo! Happy dance!

The kids and I are super excited. Hubby isn't so much, he hoped we'd wait until Spring to hatch anymore.

We had planned to, but when I saw the egg swap... Couldn't help myself! It seems a waste to have an empty bator. My kids just squeal at all the beautiful chick pics on byc, and keep asking when we're hatching some more.

I was going to keep it secret from my hubby until we got the eggs and then just have him see the set up bator, but my daughter accidentally let slip about us going to the post office to mail eggs. I forgot to tell them not to tell Dad, to keep it a secret. He just got this funny look on his face, then we all started laughing. He knows me. Love my chickies!​

these swaps are so exciting that i lose control. sorry about that. anyway only one coturnix and one button had a crack. again great packing.

Just wanted to update everyone on my eggs. I got 6 duck eggs and a goose egg. One of the duck eggs went bad right off but I candled the others today and all are fertile! As for the goose egg, I don't see anything yet but it may be too early.

Hope my eggs got to the person I sent them to! ?
