Awww man! Even with the nice packing material passed on through ChooksChicks! I can send you more later this week but I don't know that I could pack them any better!!! Let me know if you want me to try!

Thanks for the offer Firedove, but I don't think the weather and PO are a good idea this time of year. We will try again later. Again Thank you. I can tell you this though, that foam that the eggs were in would have been ok if the box had been smaller, with all the tossing around there were only 4 eggs in the foam itself.

im so excited!!! only 7 days left they are due on the 14th and so far it looks like all are going to hatchh if everything goes well knock on wood when i say thet Lol

Yay, my eggs are in lockdown!
I started with 8 eggs and 7 made it to lockdown. Thanks, Tofu!

I know there are two breeds but I have no idea what they are....can't wait for my little fluffbutts to hatch!

That's really odd. When I packed them there was no extra room in the box. There was a thick layer of shredded paper, then the foam, another thick layer of shredded paper, then a soft foam sheet, then a hard foam sheet. I had to compress it slightly just to get the box to close. It makes me wonder if the original box got totaled in transit and they repacked them??? I packed them in the exact same box and packaging as mine came in. I got mine from ChooksChicks, I'm sure she can attest that that box was fully packed with no moving room. The only thing I did differently was I took out the EE eggs and put in my eggs.

If they were still packed the way I sent them there would have been no room for the eggs to move. Not to mention that they were very snug in the foam, I had packed eggs earlier in that week and then didn't get to send out so I had to remove the old eggs and put newer ones in. It took a lot of twisting the old eggs to get them out of that foam because I couldn't get them to budge by just pulling on them. It was very difficult getting the new ones into the foam too. They were not loose at all. I have no doubt I could have lifted up that foam out of the box with all the eggs in it and they wouldn't have slipped out without me really trying to shake them out. I'd really like to know how the post office messed up that bad!

Anyways, if you would like more eggs in the spring, just send me a PM when you want them sent and I will do that for you.

Any ducks hatch yet? I so need pic's of my grand babies

Sorry, haven't been online much the last couple of days and must have missed this one.

Nope, no duckies yet. They're due the 21. If they are ones that take about four weeks, that is. I forget just how long ducks take to incubate. We hatched some in June, I think it was around four weeks.

But when I've candled, all eight are bopping around just fine in their little eggies, so I think we'll do okay. I hope.

I will definitely post pics as soon as the babies pop out. I'm anxious to see what they look like too.
