I put 3 under my brody but then i stoled them back and put them in the bator..(LOL) I gave her 3 olive eggers to hatch she should find it a short hatch..There hatch date is the 26th

Hopefully she doesn't reject them, they can do that sometimes if they don't set the eggs long enough.

She has gone brody so many times I have just hatch my second batch of silkies and she really wants in there cage...

They are 1 1/2 weeks and she would take all of them.. The day after she saw them I found her sitting on my Orps eggs..

She is my favorite of all my birds but man she is scary..I have to watch her the most to make sure she is eating...

Silkies are goofy

I've got one that apparently decided that it was that time again, she is now sitting in the cochins' nest. The cochins (2 hens) have 4 chicks together that they are still taking into the nest. This morning, the mamas were out of the nest (but still in the tractor), but the babies were all snuggled up under the silkies humongous fluffy butt

These chicks are at least 2 months old, probably more. It was very cute though. Their cochin mamas were trying their best to coax the babies out, but they were having no part of it

It should be funny to see her with chicks she is so small...I cant wait...I have her in a seperate pen and her own coop so she wont be bothered by any of my bigger birds... She is spoiled...

There are 9 perfect light brown eggs. I think they are from Tofu (I recognized the address

) ....but she labeled the eggs maddeningly with "ABC" and "XYZ" so I guess I'll be kept in suspense for awhile as to what they are.

Yippee!

Well I have to label my eggs so I know what they are....and you posted that you wanted to be surprized, sooooooooooooo I had my 8 yr old make up a code and write it on the eggs. I am not even sure what he wrote. He helped to collect, package and send your eggs.

I am glad that they made it there in one piece.

farrier! :

Thanks...really he came up with the idea all by himself. He had asked what I was doing and then he thought that it would be funny to help...my son is a blast
