Odd Behavior - Scratching and Cackling

I have a 21 week old Easter Egger, who recently began laying.

This morning she was cackling in the coop, like she was startled. At least it sound like an alarm cackle. When I opened the main door, she was scratching around in the coop, like she was looking for something? When I left, she started cackling again…

Am I missing something?

What did the cackle sound like? Was it an egg song?

Doesn't sound out of the ordinary. Did she lay an egg?

I did find an egg this evening. So, maybe that is her “laying song?”

It must have been. She laid another egg today. Up until today, she was laying every third day. This the first time she’s laid one the next day.
