I've written about this chicken before, and while I was assured that her behavior isn't uncommon, I am still not convinced. The difference now being that the girls have begun laying and relatively regularly. Im averaging about 3 to 4 pullet eggs per day now. However the BlueCM strange behavior continues. Enough to the point where I would call her something of a bully. She isn't Broody, she is much to young and isn't exhibiting the signals for a broody. Keeps normal behaviors throughout the day, except when the other girls attempt to enter the coup and lay. If she doesn't notice any of the other girls entering the hen house, they will go in, sit down, and have a nice lay. However, if she notices them enter, (and its especially prevalent if more than one or two hens enter to lay) she'll do one of two things. She will sit outside the entrance of the hen house and scream at the top of her vocals the songs of her people, or go inside and literally try to chase them out, and the other hens are afraid of her, especially those of even slightly smaller stature. I noted a bloody comb on one of my 2 Wyandottes the other day, and could only presume it was the BlueCM, Especially since my Wyandottes are terrified of her. I've noted that if I crate her, the other chickens will enter the coup for laying or investigations of nesting boxes much more often. I've combed the internet for answers and the only thing I have found remotely close to explaining this behavior is that she is simply being a drama queen as young hens tend to do, and its something that breaks with age. Has anyone else ever experienced these behaviors?

One of my hens always follows the others to the nest boxes I’ve sat and watched her and she just likes to lay on the eggs after lol but she’s older so i don’t know why yours does that lol but the commentary on the pictures is funny 😆
