odd behaviour - hen keeps looking between legs

I have an ex-batt, must be approx 2.5 years old. She keeps looking between her legs as if checking out her underbelly. She is eating but less than usual. Sometimes she is with the group and sometimes alone. Her faeces is white and lumpy. Any ideas??

Also, do hens rest and shut their eyes before getting in coop to lay. A few of my girls do it.

My hen is doing exactly the same thing. I checked her and her chest area and underside is red.
How's your girl - has she recovered?
