Hello, got two new Indian runner ducklings and I might just be over cautious but whilst one of my ducklings is active and playful, the other one just wants to sleep all day. The sleepy one (Pingu) is eating, drinking and gaining weight (she is about 10days old and weighs 166g) could her sleepiness just be her personality? The other one (Dib Dab) is very noisy compared to Pingu...
Thanks in advance x

Can you give us a run down on what you feed them are you supplementing with any form of niacin? Water fowl can get deficient in niacin and that can cause leg weakness lameness even neurological issues. If you have them under heat what is the temp in your brooder? My Runners even when tiny were busy bees. Not saying anything is wrong but always best to cover all bases. How's her poop looking I think yesterday you showed a pic with lil bits of green in watery poo? any changes today

I have fed the ducks some oats and sesame seeds which are supposedly high in niacin and good for them. They always have a hot water bottle in their house as I don't have a heat lamp, they are in a warm room as well. Her poo is still liquidy but does have some brown solid bits in and looks a lot more normal than it did although a bit greenish still.

They get a small amount of peas as a treat occasionally but their main feed is a chick crunb
