Odd chick behaviour??

I have a baby chick (1 week old) and he has an odd behaviour. He peeps alot and stamps and picks at his feet and feathers. Does any one have any idea why he/she might be doing that?

My chicks did that aswell! they are 3 weeks today and they kept picking at there feet untill like they were 2 1/2 weeks old. I have no idea why they do it, whether they find there toes interesting or not ahahahah
