Odd Claw Growing + Injury

Has anyone ever seen this?

WARNING - there is some blood in photo - nothing life threatening (we hope)

There are thin, curled claws growing out of my hen's feet, she is a Maran and about 8 months old. One appears to have been ripped off while she was roaming - I actually had never even noticed the little odd claws until I saw the bit of blood.

Thoughts? Do I need to take her to the Avian Clinic (we have one about 20 mins from my house)

Looks like a minor deformity. They're very popular with hatchery production birds. You could have the vet remove it, but if it doesn't effect her, don't worry about.
