Occasionally I get one so covered with loose stick calcium it is white except where I or a Chicken scratches it.I thought I read somewhere about a whitish film on eggs from some sort of hiccup in the last stage of egg development, like an extra coating of thin calcium that creates a milky tone over brown eggs.
