the large one on the left I have been getting for about a week now. the tiny one was laid today, and the two on the right are normal. My flock of 34 hens consist of BR, RIR, B sex link, a buff orp, and a couple mutts. They are 1-3 yrs old. Layena pellets and oyester shell is always in the henhouse and they free range around the farm all day. I'm not overly concerned about this but thought I could gain some knowledge from some of you who have seen this before. Could it be that one of the girls has started to lay again now that spring is here? They average 2 dz./day, over winter it was 18. I'm gonna crack the little one and see whats inside.

Maybe they're just getting it back into gear after winter and coming back off the molt. The little "fart" egg is kinda cute!
